Yes, cargo van hot shot. Hot shot, expedited and direct all mean the same here: one urgent load, picked up and driven straight to the drop. It is not a pickup truck pulling a flatbed trailer, so oversize and open-deck freight is out.
How much fits in the van?
3,500 to 3,600 lbs of freight, through a rear door 73 in tall and 61 in wide, with 51 in between the wheel wells, 79 in of headroom and a 10.5 ft floor. Full numbers.
Do pallets fit?
Yes. A standard 48 × 40 pallet fits between the wheel wells either way round, and up to three go in a row on the 10.5 ft floor. Send the count, the height and the weight, and you'll get a straight answer.
Is there a liftgate or a pallet jack?
No. Both ends need a dock, a forklift or hand-loading.
Do you go out of state?
Yes, runs of 500 to 800 miles one way, and back. In winter they go east and south only. Cross-state detail.
Hazmat, temperature-controlled freight, household goods, and anything needing a liftgate or a pallet jack.
Are you insured?
Yes: $1,000,000 auto liability and $100,000 motor truck cargo. A certificate comes with the carrier packet, or from the agent with you as holder.
How are expedited delivery rates set?
Per load, not from a rate card. The price comes from the miles, how soon it has to be there, the weight and size, and whether there's a dock or forklift at each end.
Can a run go the same day?
If the van is free, a local run can usually go the same day. Call with the pickup, the drop and the deadline, and you'll hear straight away whether it can.
How do I get a price?
Call (808) 339-6956 or email the pickup, drop, weight, dimensions and timing. You get a price before anything is booked.
