How quotes, bookings and loads work with Markov Freight. Effective October 18, 2026.
Markov Freight is a trade name of Alexander Markov, a motor carrier with its own operating authority: USDOT 6585385, MC 65110405. We haul freight in our own van. We're a carrier, not a broker: we don't arrange loads for other carriers.
Prices are per load. A quote is not a booking. A load is booked only when we both confirm it in writing, by text or email, with the price and the pickup and delivery times.
A quote rests on what you tell us. If the weight, size, freight or the pickup and delivery details turn out different, the price can change or we can turn the load down.
Hazmat, temperature-controlled freight, household goods, and anything that needs a liftgate or a pallet jack. The van takes 3,500 to 3,600 lbs of freight; the cargo van page has the door and floor sizes.
The van has no liftgate. Both ends need a dock, a forklift or someone to hand-load. Pack freight for the road.
Every load moves on a bill of lading, signed at pickup and at delivery. Check the freight at delivery and write any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before you sign.
We carry $1,000,000 auto liability and $100,000 motor truck cargo insurance. If your freight is worth more than $100,000, tell us before it's booked.
Report damage or loss to info@markovfreight.com as soon as you find it, with photos and the bill of lading.
Payment terms are agreed for each load, in writing, together with the price.
You get honest pickup and delivery times, and word straight away if something changes. Weather, road closures, breakdowns and waits at the shipper or receiver are outside our control.
This site describes the service in general and can change without notice. The details of your load are what we confirm in writing. What happens to information you send us is on the privacy page.
